You have both so encouraged us to reserve opinion and ask questions first. Illustrating our value on their thoughts as well as not "telling" them how to feel by shoving our ideas down their throats. Ah, the innocence of a child's heart...the real heart that Christ calls us to have. Our children can teach us as much as we can teach them!

I am so excited to implement this type of parenting over my old "Drill Sergeant" approach. It is not only much better for my children, it is better for me. As a Christian mother, I look forward to many more of these "positive" conversations and reserving opinion...something I have not historically been good at! I have along way to go in fully exercising all that you have taught me, but feel blessed that my first experience was so productive...for EVERYONE involved! Bless you for all of your encouragement and for sharing these wonderful teachings with me and my family!

Thank you for pouring into the lives of so many families. We have really struggled since the birth of our son two years ago to keep life as normal as possible for Joshua's two older sisters. With Joshua's many medical challenges we cannot let our guard down and forget to be excellent in our parenting. I love that we can learn from others vicariously. Thank you for being honest and open AND, most importantly, pointing us to the ULTIMATE example, Christ!

I am glad that you emailed me, since I have been meaning to email you for quite a while. I have put your beliefs to use with my children and it is amazing what a difference it has made. The battles with my 3- year-old have almost disappeared and I couldn't ask for a more cooperative daughter. Taking your course was a true godsend and completely changed my view of parenting!

I am so thankful to God for your class and the timing of it. I love the way you apply God’s parenting style of us as His children to teach us how to parent. I still have 2 teenagers at home and am probably ready to redo the material so as not to fall back into old habits! I have also been able to give suggestions to younger Mom’s that have asked for advice and they have reaped the benefit. I am hoping we can run the class at our church later this year. I just want to let you know that we finished up today, and everyone was so grateful for the class! They felt it was so worth their time, and have been telling all their friends to try and take it in the fall.
